• Engineering

Our staff of full-time mechanical engineers is prepared to collaborate with our clients to develop and reproduce quality products using mechanical design and 3D CAD software. Whether you are seeking a prototype or production components, our manufacturing and design capabilities will ensure delivery of accurate and quality products that meet our client's specifications and quality standards.

  • Laser Cutting

Our laser cutting services provide our customers with precision cuts on standard materials such as mild steel and stainless steel. In addition, we can cut a variety of non-ferrous metals including aluminum, copper and brass.  Whip's 3,000 and 6,000 Watt machines can cut up to 1.00" thick material using solid-state fiber technology.
  • Robotic Welding

Robotic welding is our latest advancement in welding technology. We operate two robotic weld cells, both equipped with dual positioners for versatility and efficiency. With state-of-the-art robotic arms, our weld cells ensure precise and consistent welds, reducing errors and enhancing overall product quality.
  • Plasma Cutting

Plasma cutting is one of Whip Industries' most efficient and productive methods of metal cutting. Whip's plasma cutting can hold tolerances of +/-0.030 of an inch up to 2-inch thick material. For tighter tolerances and precision components we offer waterjet cutting.

  • Saw Cutting

Saw cutting is one of the gateway operations in Whip's fabrication process. Whip's saw cutting department offers cut to length flat and round bar, tube, pipe, all-thread and shapes of all metal alloys. We square cut and miter cut using automatic indexing to ensure accurate and consistent quality.

  • Shearing

Whip Industries' shearing capabilities provides our clients with a fast and cost effective method to cut sheet and plate to size. Whip can square shear material ranging from mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel from 18 gauge to 0.500 of an inch thick.

  • Punching

Whip Industries has CNC turret punch presses to handle sheet and plate projects requiring precision holes, louvers, notching and embossing. Our multi-station turrets allow us to quickly and accurately produce components to our client's specifications.

  • Forming

Whip Industries has multiple press brakes ranging from 150-ton to 400-ton capacities up to 16 feet. With a variety of V-shaped and channel shaped dies and punches Whip can produce parts with complex bends and shapes.

  • Machining

Whip Industries provides machining services to support turnkey products requiring precision-machined components. Whip's CNC lathes and machining centers, along with conventional radial drills, lathes, and mills, allow us to produce items such as shafts, axles, spacers and bushings along with grooved and threaded parts.

  • Welding

Whip Industries is CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified to CSA Standard W47.1 and specializes in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding services. We specialize in carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel welding. Whip's skilled workforce can produce simple subassemblies or more complex turnkey components with consistent quality.

  • Powder Coat Painting

To protect your investment Whip Industries provides powder coat painting to our clients. Our two paint booths can service components up to 5ft wide x 8ft x 30ft long. Without the extended dry time associate with wet painting, Whip can quickly and efficiently coat your product with a durable, scratch resistant, paint in a vast array of colors and textured finishes.

  • Assembly

Whip works with a broad range of industries and OEMs to consolidate the manufacturing process and provide our clients with products that are manufactured and assembled by a single source. We understand that outsourcing is an investment of time and resources and our ability to manufacture and assemble product onsite reduces supply chain risks for our customers. Whip can provide kitting, blister packaging of small assemblies as well as larger, complex, assemblies requiring special packaging and crating.
